Today, I will show you a simple tutorial with some brushes. It's good for your childs' photos... Note: Please go to the bottom of this tutorial for download the required textures and brushes.
It's the final as you see

Step 1. Open the original photo

Step 2. Use polygonal marquee tool (press L), choose a selection around the girl like this

Step 3. Then create a new document (size 600x800) and drag the girl into the new document. Press Ctrl + D to unselect the selection.
Step 4. Press Ctrl + M

And press Ctrl + L

Use a smooth brush to draw at her face with the color #d8cec1. You will have like that

Step 5. Choose Layer / Layer Style. Select Drop Shadow and Stroke

Step 6. Now we’re gonna draw some flowers

Use the brushes that you like to draw a background. I have this one

I use black color to draw it. Then I add stroke on it with #889121.

Step 7. Use the water color brushes to draw the background

Use the first one (the color is #d595b9) and draw like this

Now use the color #68cad7

Use the #898c4d to fill the white area. Then, use the #f09fc5 and #92abbe to make it more colorful.

Step 8. Use the second brush, with the white color, draw like this:

Step 9. Use the texture named “cs-lined”, drag it into the document, right-click, select Rotate 90 and fit it with the size of the document. Then change its blend mode to Lighten.

Step 10. Create a layer under layer flowers. Use these brushes to draw:

Select the color #ff0072, use Gradient Tool (press G), select Radial Gradient. In the gradient table, select Foreground to Transparent. Drag from left to right, we’ll have this

Step 11. Change its blend mode to Lighten. Then add some texts, so we have the final

Note: I can't remember where I downloaded all the brushes. So if you know where they are, please send the link to my contact form or info@cupofidea.com
